Motorsport on a street near you ?
Classic clubs are being urged to support a campaign to bring competitive motorsport to city streets as the Government is considering a change in law. If the Government go ahead with the proposals, this could mean racing will be taking part on a street near you.
Local authorities would be given power to suspend speed limits and traffic regulations, bringing legal street racing back to the streets of Britain for the first time in over 25 years.
A consultation has been set up by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and runs until April 10th 2014.
You can respond to the proposals by sending an Email to:firstname.lastname@example.org or writing to the address below –
